Accessible London

London is not only one of the world’s great international cities, it is probably the best place in the world to see and experience theatre and drama on a grand scale.

From watching the plays of Shakespeare performed at the Globe Theatre to seeing a range of classical and contemporary plays at the National Theatre to searching out edgy experimental drama and performance presented by companies dotted all around the capital, the advantage of all this choice is critical to the development of any emerging theatre artist.

Our Sidcup campus is only 25 minutes from the very heart of London. Transportation to and from runs late into the night. Rose Bruford College encourages students to access all parts of London’s Theatreland, a world that encompasses not just the famous West End but also an ever-widening circle of fringe venues. There are over 250 places to see performances on any given night in and around London.

And when you include the city’s endless array of cinemas, museums, music venues, clubs, pubs, restaurants and other varied attractions, you can see why London is the best place in the world to centre you studies and then launch a career. Thousands of Rose Bruford graduates have done this before you.

London is also the place to make contacts and showcase your talents. Theatrical agents, theatre, TV and film production companies, the BBC, international media connections and graduate opportunities galore are all part of your London access. Rose Bruford College will help you make these connections not only while you study with us but also after you leave. London is key feature of the Rose Bruford experience because London is the centre of the UK’s cultural and entertainment industries.
