Your training & degree work

Our teaching and administrative staff are of the highest quality, reflecting a balance of expertise in education and professional practice. Practitioners drawn from professional theatre, film and television, the music industry and other complementary professions teach and lead projects on all programmes and provide graduates with a direct link to the creative industries. Vocational preparation is a key element of all degree study.

Our undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes are currently validated by the University of Manchester. Doctoral research degrees are offered in partnership with Goldsmiths College, University of London. The College is a member of the Conference of Drama Schools (CDS) and, where appropriate, programmes are accredited by the National Council of Drama Training (NCDT).

During your time here, guest artists and teachers of international renown will be part of your tutoring process. Students on some programmes will have the opportunity to study abroad at partner institutions in Europe and the United States and through the European Erasmus programme.
