Rose Bruford College offers supervision for students undertaking research degrees at MPhil and PhD levels. This programme is offered in partnership with the 'Department of Theatre and Performance Studies' at Goldsmiths University of London, an institution with a world-class reputation for research and for creativity and innovation, and a commitment to encouraging inter-disciplinary collaboration.
You will be based at Rose Bruford College and will enjoy the benefits of working in the highly creative environment of one of the UK’s leading theatre training conservatoires. Students – especially those wishing to pursue practice-based research – will find the theatre-making resources at the College, and the range of creative and technical disciplines on offer, to be especially advantageous to this method of advanced study.
Students are jointly registered with Goldsmiths and with Rose Bruford College, and will enjoy a programme of research and research training that meets the demanding requirements of both institutions. On successful completion students will be awarded a degree of the University of London.
Our joint supervision arrangement delivers the added advantage of access to the research and support facilities of a major, multi-disciplinary, arts-based institution with an international reputation and with extensive library facilities.
Supervision will be provided at Rose Bruford College by one of our team of senior academic staff.
