College reunion in Japan

During his visit to Japan, Professor Michael Earley, Principal and Chief Executive Officer of Rose Bruford College met a number of College alumni during a reunion event held on 18th December at the Ariake College of Education and the Arts in Tokyo.

Professor Earley has combined his visit to Japan with a trip to Taiwan to promote the College and discuss future partnerships and exchanges with Ariake College in Tokyo and Shu-Te University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

Professor Earley said 'The purpose of this lengthy trip', says Earley, 'is to continue dialogues that started in London with both these fine and forward-looking institutions.  We hope to work together closely in the futute for the benefit of all our students and exchange, where possible, work from one another.'

Shu-Te is one of Taiwan's new universitities, created in 2000, and the School of Performing Arts was established in 2006.  Ariake College in Tokyo is part of the new developments in Tokyo Bay and was established in 2009.
