College student goes through to Sondheim Society Award final
Ariane Barnes, third year Acting student at Rose Bruford College has secured her place in this year's Sondheim Society Student Performer of the Year Award.
Twelve students selected from the UK's leading drama schools perform a Sondheim song and a new song by a Mercury Music Developments writing team. There will be a prize for the best performer and the best new song.
The judging panel for the ceremony to be held on 6th June at The Queens Theatre, will include Edward Seckerson music journalist for the Independent, Musical Director and Arranger Martin Koch and Casting Agent David Grindrod and actress Maureen Lipman.
