Kinetica Art Fair 2010
Kinetica Art Fair 2010

Sean Gleason, BA (Hons) Lighting Design, and Leah Glanville, BA (Hons) Digital Live Arts: Lighting Programming, have worked with Oliver Gingrich and Musion Academy on designing and installing a lighting rig for a Musion system at the KineticaArt Fair 2010.

Musion have developed a sophisticated projection system that makes projected images appear to float in space. The system is used mainly in the concert and corporate industries, but also has huge potential for the performing arts.

Kinetica Art Fair is produced by Kinetica Museum and is the first of its kind in the UK. It provides collectors, curators and the public with a unique opportunity to view and purchase artworks from leading contemporary arts organisations and artists specialising in kinetic, electronic, robotic, light, sound, time-based and interdisciplinary new media art.

The inaugural 2009 Kinetica Art Fair was a seminal cultural event, attracting over 9,000 visitors, and increased the importance and value of kinetic, electronic and new media art on a global level as well as in the mainstream arts press. Kinetica Art Fair 2010 was again held at the University of Westminster’s P3.
