Launch of new Stanislavski electronic journal

The Stanislavski Centre in partnership with the St Petersburg Academy of Theatre Arts, has launched a new electronic journal.

The Stanislavski Journal will be published twice-yearly, in Spring and Autumn and will offer a platform for the best in international scholarship.
The journal will be published bi-lingually, in Russian and English and the first edition – Stanislavski and the contemporary theatre – will be co-edited by Professor Alexander Chepurov and Dr Paul Fryer.

The Stanislavski Centre has published a call for contributors, and those interested in submitting an article for the first edition should send a 500 word abstract to Dr Paul Fryer (paul.fryer@bruford.ac.uk) by 2nd August 2010.

The final deadline for complete submissions will be 31st January 2011, and we anticipate that the first issue will be published on-line in May 2011.
