New Marketing & Communications Manager for College
New Marketing & Communications Manager for College

I am delighted to announce that Dominic Bean joins as the new Marketing and Communications Manager at Rose Bruford College. Dominic role will encompass a greater marketing of the College, its students and staff and our many activities to the public, the press and employers.  He will also be charged with improving communications across the institution and with the surrounding communities and developing our digital initiatives.

Dominic Bean joins the College having worked in the Local Government, Education, Publishing, Research and PR sectors. Over a career of more than 20 years he has undertaken a number of roles in the fields of marketing, business development and research. Having graduated from the University of Sussex, Dominic started working for Mulholland Research Associates, and then moved into Local Government, working as Marketing Co-ordinator for Wandsworth Leisure Centres, and then went to be the first marketing professional in public library services when he joined Southwark Libraries, and then was promoted to marketing Southwark Leisure Services (client side). To broaden his scope, Dominic, then moved into the Education sector, and joined NESCOT as their Head of Marketing and Business Development where he stayed for 3 years helping the College reverse a deficit. While at NESCOT, Dominic was approached by The Independent Newspaper to lead their marketing activity to the Education sector supporting the development of a range of titles.  Nine years later Dominic left The Independent as Head of Insight and Commercial Marketing (after a number of roles), and joined a small company called eDigitalResearch (a specialist digital research provider) as their Head of Business Development, and then moved on to work as a Business Development advisor to a PR agency called bgb communications.

Dominic likes the usual pleasures in life – his kids, his wine (and beer), a good holiday, running and swimming, and every now and then (although he is too old!) you will find him down the Ministry of Sound. We will all help tutor Dominic in the ways of theatre.
