The Society of Light and Lighting once again has chosen Rose Bruford College to host their Ready Steady Light competition. This competition, which is now in its eighth year is fast becoming one of THE lighting industry competitions to win. It involves fifteen teams competing to design an exterior lighting scheme in just 180 minutes with a limited range of equipment. The teams arrive at the College at 3pm and following a short briefing session start to set up their installations. Judging starts at 7pm. There are three prizes awarded: The Society of Light and Lighting prize for Technical PerformanceThe IALD prize for Artistic InterpretationThe Peer Prize. Entry to the competition is free.
