      <title>Scrub a Dub (a play for 2-5s and grown-ups too)</title>

      <description>It is almost time for bed and in the bathroom three reluctant bathers splish and splash a little too enthusiastically for their Mum. But when her back is turned, somethign unexpected starts to happen. Bathtime will never be the same again!&amp;nbsp;Join us on an adventure, where people, places and everyday things are not quite what they seem. Come and sail the high seas, swim in an underwater world and play on a sunshine-filled beach, in this visual and musical feast.&amp;nbsp;Scrub a Dub is a story about reminiscence and the passing of time, reminding us all that no-one can be five forever, however much fun that might be.&amp;nbsp;Scrub a Dub has been created by an ensemble company of performers and technical students from across the college's programmes, using Half Moon's landmark artform development methodology: Exchange for Change.&amp;nbsp;A special industry day will take place at Half Moon on Wednesday 13th June to explore this and other partnershops between HE and the theatre for young audiences sector.       <title>Contemporary Directions: A unique new research project exploring the role of the director in 21st century theatre.</title>

      <description>A unique new research project exploring the role of the director in 21st century theatre.&amp;nbsp;A collaboration between The Stanislavski Centre and Shakespeare s Globe Education, it will offer a forum for discussion and development of ideas.&amp;nbsp;The project launches with Re-naming the Director, on the evening of 6th June, at The Rose Theatre at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance; commencing with a keynote talk given by Sir Richard Eyre, and followed by a panel platform debate, featuring several leading UK directors.&amp;nbsp;The project will continue for 18 months.       <title>Music on Stage: The fourth biennial international, interdisciplinary conference at Rose Bruford College, Sidcup, Kent</title>

      <description>20th and 21st&amp;nbsp;October&amp;nbsp;2012&amp;nbsp;Keynote speaker: Errollyn Wallen&amp;nbsp;Described as the  renaissance woman of contemporary British music' composes across the classical/popular divide.&amp;nbsp; She studied composition at London and Cambridge universities and has had commissions from ROH, WNO, Almeida Opera, Birmingham Contemporary Music Group, the Schubert Ensemble, Leipzig Ballet and the BBC. Her most recent operatic work,  Yes!  (with libretto by Bonnie Greer) was premiered at the Linbury last November. She was awarded the MBE for services to music in 2007.Guest Speaker on Sunday will be Professor Nicholas Baragwanath (Nottingham) who will speak on his latest research on the history of singing and vocal melody, featuring archive material that demonstrates forgotten techniques and practices.
