Chloe joined Rose Bruford in 2021, after freelancing as a visiting tutor and mentor for the College for 15 years. Alongside teaching part time at Bruford and elsewhere, Chloe is a freelance lighting designer, working mostly in theatre, opera, circus, and hip hop and contemporary dance.

Chloe has designed for companies including Leeds Playhouse, Theatre Royal Stratford East, Lyric Hammersmith, many productions for South African opera company Isango Ensemble, Upswing, Southwark Playhouse, Greenwich Playhouse, Far From The Norm, Theatre Centre, Theatre Is, Pagrav Dance Company, Box Clever and Quicksilver.

Chloe previously re-lit many UK and international tours for companies including Hofesh Shechter Company, Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre, Headlong, Graeae Theatre, Vincent Dance Theatre and English Touring Theatre. Chloe’s work has taken her throughout Europe and North America, and to South Africa, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Iran, Dubai, Singapore, and Lebanon.

Chloe has also previously worked as a freelance lighting technician in many London theatres, including The National Theatre, Sadlers Wells, Royal Court, Royal Albert Hall, Lyric Hammersmith, Hampstead Theatre, and The Place.

Chloe has also worked as a designer, lecturer, visiting tutor or mentor for RADA, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Mountview Academy, Guildford School of Acting, Trinity Laban, Drama Studio London, Oxford School of Drama, and Goldsmiths College, as well as various UK and international organisations outside of higher education.
