Hansjörg Schmidt is the Programme Director of the MA Light in Performance, and Subject Leader for Visual Design in Public Spaces in the Undergraduate School. As a lighting designer, he regularly collaborates with performance makers and other practitioners on creating new landscapes and environments made of light.
At Rose Bruford, Hansjörg runs the MA Light in Performance. Hansjörg is actively engaged in exploring new ways to teach and learn about light in performance, particularly through cross-disciplinary working and knowledge exchange.
