Rogan is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. He worked for BAE Systems for over 30 years in a variety of senior financial positions including in the latter years responsibility for the finance, legal, tax and HR, and the development and implementation of a corporate governance framework, for a network of International offices across Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
In a voluntary capacity, Rogan was Treasurer and a member of the Parochial Church Council for over 20 years for 2 significant city centre churches in Guildford overseeing many major building projects as well as implementing and maintaining strong financial controls. He now has a similar but smaller role in Cranleigh where he lives.
Rogan was invited on to the Rose Bruford Board after retirement from full time employment providing the opportunity to apply skills gained from both the corporate world and from the voluntary and charity sector, in the field of education and the creative arts.
Rogan is an avid consumer of the arts including a lifelong love of the theatre, which he shares with his wife. He is a member of the Chichester Festival Theatre, The National Theatre and the Yvonne Arnauld Theatre in Guildford.
