How you can help

Our alumni play a key role in the ongoing success of Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance. Your involvement and support, whether by giving advice, feedback, time or money has a huge impact on the next generation of actors, designers, technicians and theatre professionals. Can you help provide placement, support or mentoring opportunities for our students to gain practical skills and experience, or be prepared to speak to students about your professional experience since graduating?

We understand that, for our students, it is often advice received from their peers that leads to new jobs, roles and opportunities – this network of Bruford alumni is an excellent way for students to find their feet and create relationships that are so vital in the portfolio style careers within this industry.

We also know that there are already a great many alumni providing this kind of support, both formally and informally. If you are already providing a placement, or mentoring a student or recent graduate, whether off your own back, or through the college’s academic programmes, we urge you to let the Alumni team know so that we can keep a track of activity across the college. This will enable us to spot gaps in this provision, target particular courses or areas and even work out the value of this support to the college.
