Your two guests will be allocated tickets entitling them to sit elsewhere in the theatre . Ticketholders for the video link will be shown into the studio. On the day of the Ceremony there will be ushers and marshals on duty to ensure you are in the right seat and to ensure you know exactly what to do.
What should I wear?
Graduands are advised to wear lightweight, dark clothes under their academic robes. The gown is quite long (and warm!), reaching to 30cm above the ground. A black, gold and mauve academic hood is worn over the top of the gown. This has a small loop on the front, which allows it to be attached to a shirt button to hold it in place. The hood can also be held in place by pins, which will be available in the Robing Room. Mortar Boards can be secured with hair grips if necessary.
