FAQs

Can I bring guests?

Students are entitled to two guest tickets for the Rose Theatre and can be purchased through the online store. Once the ticket sales have closed please email [email protected]
If you have ordered guest tickets via the online store, the email confirmation of this order will serve as your tickets for the day, so please print a copy off.

What should I wear?
Graduands are advised to wear lightweight, dark clothes under their academic robes.  The gown is quite long (and warm!), reaching to 30cm above the ground.  An academic hood is worn over the top of the gown.  This has a small loop on the front, which allows it to be attached to a shirt button to hold it in place.  The hood can also be held in place by pins, which will be available in the Robing Room.  Mortar Boards can be secured with hair grips if necessary.

Do I have to pay to attend the ceremony?
A graduation fee is not charged, however you will have to hire or purchase academic robes in order to attend the ceremony.  You must reserve and pay for your academic robes in advance directly with the hire company by clciking on the link below.
