Creative Lighting Control (CLC) Live is a flagship, student-led lighting showcase that transforms our Rose Theatre into a fully programmed, large-scale lighting environment, with live music and additional exterior lighting installations around the campus across three nights in February 2026.

CLC is a Level 5 assessed activity, led and delivered by students specialising in lighting, video and technical production. Working independently under professional supervision, students design, rig and programme an ambitious, industry-standard show using an exceptional scale of equipment rarely available within higher education.

The result is a highly polished, professional event with a distinctly corporate aesthetic, where every cue is time-coded and nothing is live, allowing audiences to experience precision, control and creative ambition at its highest level.
