English language requirements

Rose Bruford College holds a ‘Highly Trusted Sponsor’ licence issued by the UK Home Office. This licence permits the University to recruit students from outside of the EU/EEA who require a visa to study in the UK.

The Home Office defines the following countries to be majority native-English speaking and as such, nationals of these countries are not required to demonstrate their English language proficiency.

For admission onto Rose Bruford College’s undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes, applicants are required to have an IELTS score of 6.0 or GCSE. C+ equivalent. We prefer certification from IELTS, but other tests are also accepted. For information about your local English language test centre contact the British Council in your own country.
