A vivid range of characters are seen in a fascinating set of situations, each characterized by a powerful moment of decision. Originally written for just four performers, this production has an expanded cast of sixteen actor musicians and features songs that draw on America’s rich pop, jazz and gospel traditions.
Originally produced by the WPA Theatre, NYC, 1995 (Kyle Renick, Artistic Director). Original orchestration by Brian Besterman and Jason Robert Brown.
