Applying for a School of Design, Management and Technical Arts Course
If you would like to apply for a School of Design, Management and Technical Arts course (eg. Lighting Design, Costume Production, Scenic Arts, Stage and Events Management). Please complete the application form and return it to [email protected].
We will then contact you regarding an interview. It might be possible for us to see you when we visit for the acting auditions.

What do I need to prepare for my audition?
Please prepare two pieces, one classical (eg Shakespeare) and one contemporary (as a guide, anything post around 1960 but this isn’t strict). Each piece should be 90 to 120 seconds in length
I am applying for European Theatre Arts BA (Hons), can I do something other than Shakespeare?
Yes!
What will the audition day include?
Alexia Kokkali, Programme Director for our European Theatre Arts BA (Hons) Programme will be running our Iceland auditions.

We will see everyone individually for their speeches. Alexia will make a video of students doing speeches where relevant so that she can share them with Programmme Directors from our Acting, Actor Musicianship, American Theatre Arts, Postgraduate and Acting Foundation Programmes.
The finish time depends on the time you are seen individually and on the number of people attending the audition!
Can I apply for more than one course?
Yes!
Is there another stage to the audition process?
Yes, successful applicants will be invited for Skype auditions with relevant Programme Directors.
