Stay at Home, Protect the NHS, Save Lives
Please follow the latest Government advice of staying at home:
- Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (where this absolutely cannot be done from home)
- Stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people
- Wash your hands as soon as you get home
Christopher Court Update
The Summer Term rental instalment for students who are no longer staying at Christopher Court has been waived. However in order to facilitate administration and cleaning costs plus storage costs for left belongings we will make a notional charge to each of these students of £300. Students who have remained in Christopher Court will continue to pay their rent as normal and will not be liable for the £300 charge. Please check your College email for updates.
Rose Bruford College: Open for Learning
From 5pm on Friday 20 March Rose Bruford College will remain open for learning – but all on-site access is now suspended until further notice.
Only essential contractors and staff who will have been explicitly requested to come in, will be able to access the premises
The College is following advice from Public Health England and the UK Government, in order to protect our community and help with public efforts to stop the spread of the virus.
Auditions and Interviews
With the safety and well-being of both our applicants and those within the College community being our priority we are replacing all face to face auditions and interviews with online alternatives with immediate effect. Our Admissions Team will be contacting applicants with updates in the coming days.
Moving Our Community Online
The College is migrating a considerable amount of our activities online as far as is practical and possible. We will be in regular contact with students and staff about these activities, which include tuition, training, productions, and recruitment activities (including those planned for delivery off-site).
All essential functions will take place online as far as possible to allow our students and staff to continue learning and working remotely. These are extraordinary times and we ask for your patience as we work rapidly to adjust to these extraordinary circumstances. We will continue to update our community regularly.
Students and staff can access many resources remotely, including IT, electronic library resources and online learning – which is being developed on a programme-specific basis by academic and support teams. Additional support services will continue to be accessible remotely by phone, email and other electronic means. Further contact details can be found below.
Looking after your mental health is important during this unprecedented period. Visit mentalhealth.org for the latest advice and resources.
Student Recruitment and Outreach Activity
All in-person recruitment and outreach activity, including school-related activities, will be suspended until further notice. We will be looking closely into alternative approaches for enabling this activity. Please visit our Webinar page for the schedule of upcoming webinars and links to previous webinars.
