Second year BA (Hons) Lighting Design student Jake Paige has been given a unique opportunity to work with Arcadia at this year’s Glastonbury Festival thanks to Robe Lighting.
The industry placement has been provided by Robe as part of their Next Robe Generation (NRG) initiative, which provides students with training, industry networks and experience.
Arcadia are a performance art collective renowned for transforming the machinery of war into installations. Their notorious ‘Spider’, which has been at Glastonbury over the past 10 years, is being replaced by a new installation titled Pangea.
Before setting off to Glastonbury, Jake said;
“I’m really looking forward to joining the Arcadia team and would like to thank Robe and Rose Bruford College for giving me this amazing opportunity.”
