Dear 2021 entry students,

We know that this is a uniquely challenging time to be considering your Higher Education choices. We are very aware that the effects of COVID-19 on your education, and the cancellation of exams for UK students could be causing you some additional stress or anxiety. Deciding whether to travel to the UK for your studies has become more complex than normal for international students.

We are not charging for recalls or auditions for 2021 entry applicants. We understand the impact of the ongoing pandemic, and financial strain this may put on our applicants, we hope that this decision will go some way in helping with that

If you are thinking of applying to Rose Bruford College but don’t think you will have all of your materials ready before the UCAS deadline (January 29 2021), or want to take a little longer to consider your options then we would like to offer the following reassurance:

We are still accepting and considering applications through UCAS for many of our Undergraduate programmes.

You should still submit your application to us as soon as you have all of the information you need, but we hope this announcement will reassure those who need a bit more time. We will continue to close programmes to new applications when they are full and may operate waiting lists, so you should still get your application in as soon as you can. If the programme you are interested in becomes full, we urge you to consider one of our other specialist programmes which may be suitable

The cancellation of many exams in the UK may have left you feeling uncertain about the grades you will be allocated.

We assess each application on your potential, not just your grades.

If you have concerns about your grades, please contact [email protected] we may offer you a place based on lower UCAS points than shown on our programme pages, or give you an offer that is not linked to UCAS points, if we have evidence of your potential from your application or interview/audition. We understand that providing a portfolio may be difficult during the current COVID restrictions – for example, you might not be able to access coursework at your school or college that you want to include in your portfolio. If you are unable to provide a portfolio, or if it will be incomplete due to the current restrictions, please email [email protected] explaining the situation. We will then take your circumstances into account when looking at you application, and ensure you are not disadvantaged.

Please be assured that we are here to help and support you through the application process, and have teams on hand to talk you through:

Best wishes,
