Olivier Awards Nominations 2014

Ron has been nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category for his portrayal of Pistol in Henry V at the Noel Coward Theatre. Ron was praised or bringing humanity to the part which can often be cartoonish. This is the second time that Ron has been nominated having lost out in the Best Supporting Actor category in 2000.
Ron graduated from Rose Bruford College in 1975 and was awarded a fellowship of the college in 2011 for his contribution to theatre, film, and television and radio drama. Ron has been on our screens recently as Mr Crabb in the ITV series Mr Selfridge.
Rosalie has been nominated for Best Actress in a Musical for her role as Althea in the Light Princess at the National Theatre. Rosalie has already picked up the Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Musical Performance her impressive turn leading the cast in this musical by Tori Amos.
Rosalie is a 2001 graduate of the college’s BA (Hons) Actor Musicianship course and has returned to the college to lead workshops and work with current students.
RBC President, Sir Richard Eyre’s has been nominated for the Best Director category for 'Ghosts' at the Almeida Theatre and Trafalgar Studios. Richard's own adaptation of Ibsen’s haunting classic has already earned the director a West End transfer and Evening Standard Theatre Award. The show garnered critical acclaim for its elegant and imposing staging, with a spine-tingling ominous atmosphere and impeccable performances.
