Undergraduate launches
- Acting for Screen BA (September 2025)
This innovative new course builds on Rose Bruford’s long standing tradition in and reputation for delivery of exceptional actor training and teaching. Developed to help you navigate the realities of contemporary and fast-evolving changes in acting, Acting for Screen BA offers you a richness of experience in which to create diverse stories for camera and microphone that will prepare you for a career across rapidly changing and emerging formats across industries.
- Lighting Design BA (September 2025)
We are pleased to be relaunching Lighting Design BA (Hons) at Rose Bruford College, which was the first institution in Europe to offer such a degree. Through this course you will explore innovative ways of designing and working with light, acquiring in-demand skills, and collaborating with industry lighting designers and practitioners along the way.
Practical in its focus you will explore current uses and appli-cations of light, considering how it is applied to performance, and harness your design skills for use in a variety of settings that provide a route to a future career across music, installation art, opera, film, television, in architectural settings, and elsewhere.

- Animation MA (2026)

- Writing MA (2026)

- Digital Immersive Arts MA (2026)
Extended Reality (XR) technologies are transforming media, performance, and design by merging physical and virtual worlds. This MA equips students to lead in this field, using tools like virtual production, XR stages, motion capture, and mixed reality to create impactful experiences. Students will develop projects that explore the intersections of science, technology, politics, society, and culture.
