Our hall of residence at Christopher Court is directly opposite Sidcup Station and a short walk from our Lamorbey Park Campus. It consists of 168 spacious en-suite rooms with individual study space in a safe and secure environment. Each flat shares a kitchen and social area for six students and laundry facilities are available on site. Managed by Sodexo, Christopher Court enhances the student experience.

2017 Level 4 Students Applying for Christopher Court

All successful applicants for 2017 entry, who wish to reside at Christopher Court, will be required to pay a deposit of £350 to secure your room. The accommodation is on a first come first served basis.

£50 of the deposit is a booking fee which is non-refundable and the remaining £300 is a security damage deposit. Your deposit will be returned to you within a reasonable time at the end of your tenancy provided the room is left in a satisfactory manner as described in your license agreement (usually within four weeks).

En-suite room with 3ft wide bed - £170 per week

En-suite room with 4ft wide bed - £175 per week


Please be aware that Christopher Court is only available for first year students studying on a full-time three/four year degree course.

Please note there are no parking facilities.

What is provided?

In the communal kitchens you will find almost everything you need, including:

  • Fridge/freezer
  • Electric oven
  • Microwave
  • Kettle
  • Toaster
  • Mop and bucket
  • Dustpan and brush
  • Vacuum cleaner (can be hired from reception)

In each study bedroom there is:

  • 3 or 4ft sized bed – There is extra storage space underneath the bed.
  • Wardrobe
  • Study desk
  • Chair
  • Mirror
  • Noticeboard
  • Waste bin

What to bring:

You will need to bring your own:

  • Bed linen (we recommend buying double duvet sets)
  • Cooking utensils
  • Cutlery
  • Iron

  • Term 1 rent is due by 9 October 2017
  • Term 2 rent is due by 18 January 2018
  • Term 3 rent is due by 23 April 2018

BA (Hons) American Theatre Arts Students Students only

  • Term 1 rent is due by 8 September 2017
  • Term 2 rent is due by 5 February 2018
  • Term 3 rent is due by 30 April 2018
