Rose Bruford College is looking for a communications professional to join our Corporate Affairs team, with responsibility for how the College engages with the world beyond the campus.
You will work across media relations, alumni communications, sector body and civic engagement, website content, SEO and GEO, and awards submissions. Working as part of a small, close-knit team, you will take an integrated approach to external communications: understanding audiences that range from students and staff to local communities, national partners, and government, and choosing the right channel and message for each. This is not a role for someone who waits to be told what to cover.
Our graduates are working across the creative industries and beyond, and the relationships the College builds with them over time have real value: for its reputation, its content, and its longer-term development. Some of those careers have changed industries, shifted conversations, and made a genuine mark. Finding those stories, knowing which ones matter and to whom, and getting them in front of the right audiences is a significant part of what this role does.
You will be a sharp writer, comfortable with data, and someone who brings genuine curiosity to the people and organisations the College works with. Familiarity with AI tools as part of a working practice is expected.
Based at our Sidcup campus, with London venue attendance as the work requires. Hybrid working available once working patterns are established.
Deadline for applications: Thursday 14 May 2026
Interviews are scheduled to take place in-person between 28 May – 3 June 2026.

Rose Bruford College is looking for a communications professional to join our Corporate Affairs team, with responsibility for the communications that surround our events programme and the relationships we build with the industries our graduates enter.
You will coordinate industry engagement, manage guest lists and invitations, develop relationships with agents and sector partners, and keep our digital presence accurate and current. You will also contribute to social media, awards submissions, visual content, and evidence gathering that supports the College’s reputation and profile. Working as part of a small team, you will be the person who ensures that every event, performance, and industry moment is well communicated and well followed up.
You will also ensure that the data behind every event, from ticketing income to attendance records, is captured accurately and contributes to the College’s wider reporting and funding obligations.
This is a role for someone who is comfortable in a fast-moving environment, confident in their professional judgement, and genuinely interested in the creative industries and the professional world our graduates enter. Some of what you will work on will need to be built from scratch.
Based at our Sidcup campus and at London venues as the work requires. Strong on-site presence expected in year one. Hybrid working available outside of peak periods.
