Rose Bruford College has a small but vibrant research student community. This page contains resources and information about the programme and information on how to apply.

We are interested in supporting practice research across the fields of Theatre Design, Digital Technologies, Acting Methodologies, Movement, Solo Performance, Body-Based Practices and beyond.

Current students

Students are registered both at the University of East London and Rose Bruford College and supervised by a team of academic staff from both institutions. They benefit from access to the expertise, facilities and resources in both institutions.

There are normally between 5-10 students registered on the programme at any one time.

The programme is overseen and supported by the College’s Research Office staff members, who meet with the students regularly. Please contact the Research Manager, Nicola Sainsbury, or Professor Brian Lobel if you have any queries, at [email protected].
