Access, Opportunity and Representation
Rose Bruford College is committed to ensuring that higher education is accessible to talented students from all backgrounds.
We recognise that students can face different barriers when considering higher education, particularly specialist creative training. Through our outreach and engagement work, we aim to help prospective students explore their options, build confidence and make informed decisions about their future.
Why This Matters
The creative industries benefit from a wide range of voices, experiences and perspectives.
We want students who may not have previously considered higher education, or specialist conservatoire-style training, to understand the opportunities available to them and feel confident in pursuing their ambitions.
Our Work
Our widening participation activity includes work with schools, colleges, community groups and prospective students to increase awareness of higher education and support progression into study.
This activity evolves over time and reflects the needs of the communities we work with.
