Christopher Court, a new halls of residence for 168 Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance students, was officially opened at a ceremony in Sidcup.

The Mayor of Bexley, Sybil Camsey, was joined by James Brokenshire MP, Leader of Bexley Council Teresa O’Neill as well as local councillors, College governors and representatives from local community organisations at the event on Friday 18 September.

Principal of the College, Professor Michael Earley said;

“The opening of Christopher Court signals a new era of growth and development, not only for the College but also the Station Road area of Sidcup. With 168 rooms being occupied throughout the year and conferencing facilities being completed later on this autumn, it provides a new and sustained client base for our local businesses.”

The event also included the unveiling of a mural by photographer Michael O’Reilly dedicated to outgoing Chair of Governors, Rodney Gent.
