International students only (who will study on a Student Visa)

You will need to provide the following documents to [email protected] once you have arrived in the UK:

Visa and arrival documentation

Option 1: If you have received a Stamped Entry Clearance Vignette and Biometric Residence Permit (BRP)

  • A copy of your 30-day entry clearance vignette with the immigration stamp of the date you entered the UK (please note, this may be valid for 90 days due to COVID-19 concessions).
  • A copy of both sides of your BRP card (if you have yet to receive your BRP, please forward a copy as soon as you have collected it).
  • You must provide a copy of your travel documentation (boarding pass/flight ticket) confirming when you arrived in the UK.

Option 2: If you have received an Immigration Status Share Code and Travel Details

If you applied for your visa using the ID check app, you will not receive an entry clearance vignette or a BRP, instead you will be issued with digital status. Please provide the following:

  • A screenshot of your immigration status share code and confirm your date of birth. You can do this by following the instructions on the UK Government website.
(Please Note: You need to choose ‘something else’ for requesting the code, not work or rent related. We require it for study). Please ensure the code begins with the letter ‘S’, indicating it is for study.
  • You must provide a copy of your travel documentation (boarding pass/flight ticket) confirming when you arrived in the UK.

If you did not use the app to apply for your visa, this is usually the case where you do not have a passport with a biometric chip, you will be issued with a visa sticker and BRP (see above).

For all international students who have obtained a student visa, you must bring all of the original documents used to evaluate your application. This includes your passport, original documents of your qualifications and English qualification such as IELTS (if applicable). These are required when you register in person so you must ensure you bring them with you at registration.
