London location

Our Sidcup campus is only 25 minutes from central London.

London is not only one of the world’s great international cities – it is the perfect place to experience performance in every form that it takes.

From watching the plays at the National Theatre or Shakespeare’s Globe to seeking out edgy, experimental drama and performance presented by theatre companies dotted all around the capital, you will have access to a wide range of performance, production and design approaches on varying budgets, and in all sorts of spaces.

London also provides students with a wide range of research libraries, collections and resources to support their academic work.

If you’re studying at our campus in Wigan, you’ll enjoy Manchester’s MediaCity right on your doorstep; one of the world’s leading media and tech hubs. Wigan is a rapidly developing cultural hub; with neighbouring venues such as The Old Courts and local theatre companies, some of the most exciting, dynamic creative performance work is being made in the borough.

Wellbeing and support

Your wellbeing is of paramount importance to us. Our students have access to 24-hour support, 365 days per year through our support line and our Student Services team are always happy to help.

Learn more about our well-being services, study support and disability support.

Students' Union

The students’ union is here to make everyone feel safe and heard during their studies. The SU listens and puts ideas forward to senior members of staff to create change around the College. The SU’s goal is to make the College a safe space where everyone is welcome.

Accommodation

Many of our first-year students choose to live in our ensuite student halls at Christopher Court – located 10 minutes’ walk from campus. There are 168 self-catered rooms in Christopher Court, with shared kitchens for every 6 students. There are also plenty of opportunities to rent accommodation privately local to the College. You can find out more about your options on our Accommodation pages.

Social life

It doesn’t take long for our students to get to know each other. We are a relatively small institution, with an emphasis on collaboration across year-groups and between subject areas, so you will have lots of opportunities to work with different groups.

There are lots of places to eat, drink and socialise close to campus, including Lamorbey park when the weather is good.
