Evan Placey’s bold and imaginative adaptation of Jekyll & Hyde reimagines Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic Gothic thriller for a modern audience

Following the mysterious death of Dr Jekyll, his widow Harriet finds herself searching for answers in a world dominated by privilege and control. As rumours circulate about the elusive and dangerous Hyde, hidden truths begin to emerge, exposing the darker side of society and the individuals who shape it. 

Jekyll & Hyde is a gripping theatrical experience which places women at the heart of the narrative. Blending the dark streets of Victorian London with the digital world of today, this powerful production explores identity, power, and what happens when society forces people to suppress who they really are.

Performed by BA Acting and Actor Musicianship students. This amateur production is performed by arrangement of Nick Hern Books.
