A bang up to date adaptation of Kenneth Graeme’s beloved original directed by Alex Howarth.

Toad is a creature of extravagant crazes: sailing, punting houseboating, GoKarting and picnics.  In the Wild Wood live Weasel, Ferret and Stoat, a comic trio of jealous villains, envious of Toad’s imagination and determined to bring him down by any means.  Toad’s rocket fuelled Go-kart journey into the Wild Wood leads him to his newest craze.  But this is no ordinary hobby: it puts his life in danger, and his friends Rat, Badger and Mole resort to drastic measures to control him. 

Developed for Bruford’s Actor Musicians and with joyous songs and live music performed on stage as part of the action, this is a family show for the Festive Season.
