The announcement of the 2020 Olivier Awards nominee list resulted in a range of nominations for Rose Bruford College alumni from the School of Performance and School of Design, Management and Technical Arts.

Michele Austin has been nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her critically acclaimed performance in Cyrano do Bergerac, whilst other alumni have been involved in nominated productions.

Amongst those is 2014 BA (Hons) Stage Management graduate, Caitlin O’Reilly who is Stage Manager on Baby Reindeer. Nominated for Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre Award the compelling one-man show, written and performed by Richard Gadd, is currently running at The Ambassadors Theatre.

Other Rose Bruford College connected nominated productions include; The Worst Witch, Magic Goes Wrong and Death of a Salesman, whilst Honorary Fellows Paule Constable (Lighting Design) and Rae Smith (Set Design) also received individual nominations.

The Olivier Awards will be held at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 5 April and hosted by Jason Manford.
