A talent show featuring Rose Bruford College students and graduates has raised over £160 for Mind in Bexley.

Bruford’s Got Talent in collaboration with Mind in Bexley was held at New Community Church, Sidcup on Saturday 23 February 2019 and included musical performances by a range of students and alumni.

The event is one of a series of mental health awareness events and initiatives run by the College. In addition to being the first drama school to sign up to the #Time4Change Mental Health Charter for the Performing Arts the College also runs a Mental Health First Aiders scheme.

Event organiser, Tiffany Banks said:

“We are delighted to be able to support the fantastic work that Mind do both at the College and in the wider community. The acts that performed were incredible and seeing the range of talent was inspiring.”

The event was supported by a volunteer technical team from the College’s School of Design, Management and Technical Arts which includes degrees in Lighting, Sound and Stage and Events Management.

The winners received a bundle of prizes donated by Mind in Bexley, Sidcup BID Partners and Rose Bruford College Student’s Union.
