A new production from Rose Bruford College at Bridewell Theatre, 18, 19 & 20 June.
Part of a season of two contemporary responses to ancient Greek theatre at the Bridewell Theatre, this production is created and performed by MA/MFA Actor & Performer Training students from Rose Bruford College, and directed by Sarah Dowling, a longtime associate of Punchdrunk, the internationally renowned London-based immersive theatre company.
Dowling takes inspiration from Euripides’ tragedy and draws on a wide range of external sources to conjure an immersive experience – a strikingly contemporary reflection on the ravages of war. This production will be devised collaboratively, including original material developed by the MA acting students.
