Anthony Carey is Senior Adviser, Board Practice and Public Policy at Forvis Mazars, the accountancy firm where he was a partner for many years. A chartered accountant and chartered director, Anthony is also a member of Council at Lancaster University and a Trustee of the Education and Training Foundation and of the Margaret Beaufort Institute of Theology which is part of the Cambridge Theological Foundation.
Anthony’s past appointments include serving as a Member of Council at Cranfield University and as chair of the Finance Committee of the Higher Education Academy, now part of Advance HE.
