Sud Basu is a Creative Director, Producer and Strategist with over 25 years’ experience across theatre, dance, music, and visual art. He has commissioned projects and shaped major curatorial frameworks for festivals, venues, and public spaces, and has worked in leading positions with organisations including the Greater London Authority, Arts Council England, and 14–18 NOW.
As Director of Third Version Creative, Sud leads projects at the intersection of producing, strategy, and cultural exchange. Third Versions work is global – with major artistic partnerships projects with South Africa’s EU, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. The company also develops frameworks for sector and place based strategy, including a 10-year vision for the future of outdoor arts. Third Version Creative is supported by Arts Council England as part of its National Portfolio.
Sud also contributes to the wider cultural landscape through governance and advisory roles. He is a Trustee of London Sinfonietta and Without Walls – and an Artistic Advisor to Jerwood Arts.
