The Festival of Independent Creative Practice brings urgent, engaging and innovative performances from our final year BA (Hons) Theatre and Social Change. This performance showcase of five, brand new works over two days poses critical questions for the world today with humour, with compassion, with action, and with the most innovative of insights.
Fat Funny Friend by Amie Malyon
Have you ever been a teenager? Have you ever suffered with mental illness? Have you heard of CAMHS? Do you have friends? Are you funny? Think your fat? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should come and see Fat Funny Friend!
The funny and authentic show, where through real diary entries you see Amie go through trials and tribulations to overcome her mental health struggles and come out the other side as a living legend.

Content and SFX information: swearing and descriptions of self-harm, eating disorders, calorie counting, death, suicide, auditory hallucinations/voices

Both the Rose and Barn Theatres are accessible for mobility scooters and wheelchairs and have designated spaces. Please note that in the Rose, you will be seated in the round.
