This workshop is designed for young people aged 8 – 18 years who have a keen interest in drama and cater for all students, from beginners to those with experience. The courses offer an opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and build confidence in a relaxed and friendly environment. The course will be divided into groups based upon age, ability and numbers of applicants. In addition to developing various acting skills, the workshops will also include some technical and design work. The course culminates with a performance to which parents and friends are invited.
Students may be acting, working the lights, or flying the scenery, but most of all they will be having fun!
The workshop runs from 9am to 4pm each day, except for the final day, when participants stay on into the early evening to take part in the performance. We advise that children bring a packed lunch each day, although we do have a café where drinks and snacks can be purchased.
