Jake Reynolds gained a BA in Musical Theatre at The University of Chichester and studied MA Actor Musicianship at Rose Bruford, graduating in 2019.

Since then, Jake has built an impressive and varied career across UK theatre. He made his West End debut as Doody in Grease at the Dominion Theatre, and later appeared in the acclaimed Donmar Warehouse production of Next to Normal, playing two roles across the run.

Jake is currently part of the company for the UK and European tour of The Book of Mormon, and will join the West End company until January 2026. He is represented by Keddie Scott Associates.

Reflecting on his journey into actor-musicianship, Jake says:

“In my third year at Chichester, one of my teachers asked me if I had ever considered doing actor-musician work. At the time, I had no idea what it was. My music and my musical theatre had always been very separate and I had no idea that they could be joined together. My eyes were opened to the wonderful world of actor-musicianship, and now some of my favourite pieces of theatre are actor-muso.”

Jake credits his training at Rose Bruford as transformative in shaping his professional path:

“The skills I learnt, developed, and honed on the MA course at Rose Bruford have helped me an indescribable amount. I would not be where I am now in my career without the training and nurturing I received.”
