Open Days and webinars

There are lots of ways to find out more about what it’s like to study with us. Throughout the year we host multiple online and in-person events for all levels of study.

So why wait? Book your spot at an Open Day, Campus Tour or Webinar and get your questions answered by our friendly staff and students.

London location

Our Sidcup campus is only 25 minutes from central London.

London is not only one of the world’s great international cities – it is the perfect place to experience performance, design and production arts in every form that it takes.

From watching the plays at the National Theatre and Shakespeare’s Globe to seeking out edgy, experimental performance art presented by theatre companies, art galleries and music venues that are dotted all around the capital, you’ll have access to a wide range of creative spaces that are accessible on varying budgets.

London also provides students with a wide selection of research libraries, collections and resources to support their academic work.

If you’re studying at our campus in Wigan, you’ll enjoy Manchester’s MediaCity right on your doorstep; one of the world’s leading media and tech hubs. Wigan is a rapidly developing cultural hub; with neighbouring venues such as The Old Courts and local theatre companies, some of the most exciting, dynamic creative performance work is being made in the borough.

Wellbeing and support

Your wellbeing is of paramount importance to us. We have a dedicated team of Student Services professionals who are on hand to provide help with any issues that may arise during your studies.

We are a part of the Care Leaver Covenant; a promise to provide support for care leavers aged 16-25 to help them to live independently. We work closely with local authorities and other agencies to facilitate a smooth transition to your studies at Rose Bruford College. Learn more about care experienced students here.

Additionally, our support line is available to all students 24-hours a day, 365 days per year. Learn more about our study support, disability support and wellbeing services at our student support page.

Accommodation

Many of our first-year students choose to live in our ensuite student halls at Christopher Court – located 10 minutes’ walk from campus. There are 168 self-catered rooms in Christopher Court, with shared kitchens for every 6 students.

There are also plenty of opportunities to rent private accommodation local to the College. Find out more below.

Students' union

The students’ union is here to make everyone feel safe and heard during their studies. The SU listens and puts ideas forward to senior members of staff to create change around the College. The SU’s goal is to make the College a safe space where everyone is welcome.

International students

We welcome students from around the world and provide guidance on everything you need to know about studying in the UK and settling in at Rose Bruford.

You will be given a very warm reception here – we were ranked one of the safest universities in London by the Complete Uni Guide.

Social life

It doesn’t take long for our students to get to know each other. We’re a relatively small institution, with an emphasis on collaboration across year-groups and between subject areas, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to meet different cohorts and work together on various creative projects.

There are many places to eat, drink and socialise close to campus, including Lamorbey park when the weather is good.

Symposium

Our yearly Symposium event is a student-led and student produced festival of art, performance, music, light, sound and everything else in between.

Spread over four days, every inch of our campus is given over to you, with the aim of bringing together the creative energy of our diverse student body.

Returning alumni also contribute content to the annual celebration. This is truly a unique platform for you to integrate your connection with the industry and a great opportunity for staff and students to celebrate together.
