Enrique Munoz Jimenez was appointed as a Lecturer in Visual Production at Rose Bruford in 2018. He has a BSc in Aeronautical Engineering from The University of Madrid and an MA in Moving Image from Ravensbourne University. He previously worked as a design engineer and project manager for almost a decade before leaving engineering to retrain and worked at the Royal Opera House, London, in their Digital Development and Technology Department and their Technical Department before joining the College. He now works at the intersection of Augmented Reality (AR) and Performing Arts.
Enrique teaches across Lighting and Digital Production.
Enrique is currently leading a UKRI proof of concept funded project to develop Angel VR, an immersive VR dance experience that addresses the needs of users with visual impairments, D/deaf users, wheelchair users, and those with physical disabilities that affect motor skills, all of whom have limited access to VR due to the inaccessibility of the form.
