The RTS Programme Awards span all the genres of television programming, from soaps to history, children’s fiction to comedy performance. They recognise exceptional actors, presenters, writers and production teams as well as the programmes themselves.
The BBC’s musical drama This Town – written by acclaimed screenwriter Steven Knight – was awarded the newly combined category of Limited Series and Single Drama. The series stars Ben Rose, who graduated from Actor Musicianship BA (Hons) in 2017.
