A non-traditional, unorthodox and fresh way to approach the craft of acting. Hendricks encourages the artist to focus and live in the moment. Through exercises created by Hendricks - the actor will be encouraged to create their own characters, monologues and scenes that they will share in the experience. The actor will be able to develop and better understand their process in creating characters with the emotions that live inside of them.

"I am a percussionist that has worked with/for The Freddie Hendricks’ Youth Ensemble Of Atlanta for the creation of three shows; “Soweto, Soweto; A Township Is Calling”, "School House Rocks” and “Times”. I have also worked with him at Tri Cities High School For The Performing Arts in the Atlanta area. I had the opportunity to observe “The Hendricks Method” up close and personal. I witnessed the “magic” as it happened. I saw Freddie interact with students in ways that enabled them to perform at levels beyond what they thought was possible. I saw the initiation of young actors, many of whom are now successful Broadway performers, as well as performers that are successfully working in local theatre and film. Many of his students are now teaching and directing as well. It is my extreme pleasure and honor to endorse and highly recommend the services of Mr Freddie Hendricks. I am certain that once you do, you will consider it an honor also."-OTIS GOULD.
"I first met Freddie when I was 14 years old when I was a freshman in high school. I attended Tri-Cities High School of the Visual and Performing Arts, and Freddie was my theater instructor.I didn't know this would be the man who would change my life. Freddie helped me find my purpose and place in the world. He helped me see the greatness that lives in me.He also helped me to realize my potential as an actor and an artist. Freddie is the reason why I create the way I do. He showed me a different way to approach theatre and how to utilize all the skills that the creator has given me.Freddie is a master teacher, educator, father figure, and most importantly a friend." -Jelani Jones
