Entry Requirements

Entry to this access course is based on interview for post 19 applicants - no academic qualifications are necessary.

Studying at both Rose Bruford College in Sidcup and London South East Colleges in Greenwich; students will experience university life first hand, have the opportunity to develop practical skills, specialise in a chosen area, and finish with a placement at a London based theatre.

Employability & Industry

On successful completion of the course, students will be given a place on one of our School of Design, Management and Technical Arts degree programmes.

Completing the Access to Higher Education Diploma will enable you to pursue a degree programme at other Higher Education Institutions.

Accreditation

This programme is run in collaboration with London South East London Colleges. 

 

Fees

An advanced learner loan is available to eligible students to cover the course fee of £3,300.

Student Finance England will ‘write off’ any outstanding Advanced Learner Loan balances you owe for an Access to HE course once you complete a higher education course. This means you don’t have to repay it.

Course content

This new, unique diploma in Production Arts is designed for post 19 students currently without the qualifications to enter higher education, or those wishing to change career.

It offers students the opportunity to explore each element of set design, costume production, set construction, lighting, sound and stage management, through practical hands on training, as well as understanding how the live entertainment industry works.
